Day 114

Dear Daddy,

 Here is the spice mommy made you. It hurts to smell it. Painful, painful burning.

These strawberries are for you too. Unfortunately they are pretty crunchy because she dried them a little too long.

Emma practicing sitting... she's not too good at it yet.

She did find her hands, though, and has fun with that.

Day 113

Dear Daddy,

We had a day at home today to try to get stuff done. It didn't work well, because Emma doesn't feel good and is fussy, but oh well.

Ava was giving Uh oh a ride on her back.

Day 112

Dear Daddy,

Here are how the bananas ended up this morning! They were so so so so good! We are sending you some soon. Mommy ate way too many of them.

We had a really busy day. Mommy ignored her phone most of the time. The hanging of the shelves wasn't a complete success but we made headway. Emma was a trooper through it even though she didn't feel well and this is the face she had to give to mommy after.

We have so many things to dehydrate there's no time to waste! The machine is super super quiet so it might as well work overnight. These are some of the peppers we've had in our boxes. There are three shelves of peppers and mommy cut up one tomato purely out of curiosity. Tomorrow we are picking everything in the garden to do through the day and tomorrow night. Mommy isn't sure if she will blend all of these together for a funky chili powder for you, save some to snack on/toss in chili or soup/rehydrate or a little bit of both. Opinions on that are appreciated.

I was such a good girl I get to sleep in your bed tonight.

Day 111

Dear Daddy,

Today was suuuuuch a long day. We got up SO early to go see Miss Jessica. Mommy got up at 4 and started loading all of us at 4:30, we were on the road by 5... note to self when we come get you, make sure and give extra extra time if it's at night for loading so we don't almost miss you like last time!

Mommy noticed that Patrick has the exact same feet as you do. 

Emma loves Sophie so so much.

She also loves to just hang on mommy's legs. (Mommy's legs are out, you just can't tell.) She bounces her legs and Emma just talks and talks and talks.

Mommy got out the dehydrator finally! She loaded it up with strawberries on the bottom and then about  11 or 12 bananas in the next three trays. It smelled AMAZING when it was drying.

Day 110

Dear Daddy,

Today we didn't do much since mommy was sick again. Yuck-of course it would happen when you are gone.

Ava has hopped on the carrier train. She needed to wear uh oh. This was also right before naptime, thus the thumb sucking.

Mommy REALLY needed a nap after her awful night last night. Ava & Patrick went down easily and I was being a good girl, but Emma refused. Finally after a mini bottle and snuggling with mommy she was sleeping.

This is how she fell asleep watching the game tonight. She played so so hard, scooted across her blanket, and crashed like this.

Day 109

Dear Daddy,

This is Emma's silly hair after it was washed!

We went to the outlets, you had fun playing with blocks.

We went to Fat Patties and mommy was in such dire need of a good meal that she totally forgot to take more pictures. This was her ice cream though-pumpkin! Yum! It was SO GOOD.

Dear Daddy,

Today we went to a friend's house to have lunch and play at the playground. We had so much fun!

I am a DAREDEVIL!

Mommy obviously knows she has four kids, but sometimes it hits her when she sees pictures like this. Crazy!

Day 107

Dear Daddy,

Today we had SUCH a busy and long day. We were all so exhausted at the end.

We didn't do much in the morning, as you can see.

 After we ate lunch, though, we went to the mall to pick up our new dehydrator. Can you spot the red slug bug? I asked mommy to take a creeper picture of it.

I help mommy so much by pushing the stroller.

Patrick got a new hat and he looks so cute in it. We shared pretzel sticks because we were so good.

Then we got home super late and went right to bed-we were wiped!
