Day 146

Dear Daddy,

Mommy had another scatterbrained day as far as pictures go-sorry! Rest assured she will make up for it in the next week.

Emma is sleeping really restlessly tonight. If that's a word. If not, mommy is making it a word.

This may look messy to you but it actually looks like heaven to mommy. See the floor? It's CLEANED! And VACUUMED! Stress got sucked away big time. She is hoping to finish the rest of it tomorrow night. Hopefully Emma will be sleeping a little deeper and won't wake up with every teeny move.

Day 145

Dear Daddy,

Today was a typical Wednesday. Super busy morning, Miss Caitlynn watching Ava & Patrick while I go to my appointment... what was NOT typical, however, was this. Ava bit Patrick really really hard.

In other Ava news, mommy did her first french braid yesterday! Super cute, huh?

Day 144

Dear Daddy,

Emma didn't feel well today. She had the slightest of slight fevers but was acting really off all day. Mommy isn't sure if it's the tail end of her cold, teeth moving around somewhere, or something else. 

In good news though, her hair is starting to curl! It's going to look just like mine.

I learned to add today! And I practiced it in a zombie math game. It's really fun.

Day 143

Dear Daddy,

This morning mommy creeped into the garage to see if the big nasty spider was still there... nope, but do you see what else she found on the dryer?

 I made a heart with a face with my cards!

Look how long Ava's hair is getting!

Then there was the bug. Oh the bug.

It got lost in the rug once, then ran out, then ran back in... we wondered if it went underneath the rug. (The answer ended up being nope)

Waiting on the stupid bug to get off the ceiling. We got new jammies from Grama today!

Mommy just went to do a couple of things in the kitchen before going to bed but Emma was THAT tired.

Day 142

Dear Daddy,

Happy Sunday. Do you know what's scary? Mommy being phobic about you being gone and there being bugs in the first place, then finding this... what ended up being a peanut shell. Talk about scary. Yesterday she saw a piece of a shell on the floor and she was mad thinking it was a tiny turd-these peanuts are causing trouble.

Craziness that Ava has done the past couple of days-she's put herself down for a nap. Mommy will change her diaper and she will say goodnight, kiss mommy, walk in our room and shut the door and climb in bed. Before the past two days she threw horrible fits at naptime, though every. single. day. she still falls asleep.

Can you tell how early it gets dark now? It's insane. Here I am working on my letters!

This is the taco pie mommy made. We all liked it.

Day 141

Dear Daddy,

Well, this is pretty lame, but mommy only has a picture of her nails for you today.

Today attempted to be a productive day. It started out like that, but then I had to throw a massive tantrum and ended up in Mommy's room. I haven't quite figured out yet that just cooperating when I'm asked to is easier for everyone. Instead, I spent the afternoon in mommy's room, I woke up Patrick and Ava at 3 (insanely early), and I got a couple of my favorite toys taken away. While I was tantruming, mommy was listing pictures of things for sale, but you won't want pictures of her breast pump on here or anything.

We had a pretty good dinner too. We called it pumpkin pie chicken. It had pumpkin, chicken, cauliflower, coconut milk, and some spices in it. Yum.

Pretty, huh? She hasn't showered in a couple of days but her nails look cute!

Day 140

Dear Daddy,

This morning Ava tore the curtains down. Mommy was NOT happy.

Look how long my hair is!

Green box day! Also, our grass is finally dying for the winter.

I love my bow and arrow from Jackson!

I also like proving mommy wrong by actually having fun riding my bike in a circle on the back patio.

This is what all we got this week! Mommy is so excited to feast.

Mommy roasted the peanuts we got last week, finally. They are delicious!

Day 139

Dear Daddy,

Today was a lazy day. Mommy feels cruddy lately (thanks to all of us sharing our germs!) and the house is a wreck. Well, except for our bedrooms which now look fantastic. So.

While mommy was hanging up with you this morning this is what Patrick was doing.

I like to be creative when eating lunch...

Mommy was so proud of this dinner and it was delicious! Do you remember the pumpkin and sausage ziti bake she does sometimes? Well this was loosely based off it-only with fresh pumpkin instead of canned and spaghetti squash instead of ziti. And no milk.

Emma was wide awake and silly for a long time tonight!

Day 138

Dear Daddy,

Look what new trick Emma can do! Mommy is not happy about it. This is how she takes a shower (she brings the seat in the bathroom) if Emma has gotten up before mommy was able to hop in real fast.

She's practicing sitting up too and doing really well!

And then listening to mommy dry her hair must have been exhausting.

 So cool!

Mommy got pampered today and it was nice. Thanks, MALS!

 It was pretty chilly today. Mommy snuggled Emma up like this just to be silly but she actually sat there like that for a little bit. Such an easy baby!

Day 137

Dear Daddy,

Emma has been getting up a little earlier than normal. Mommy isn't exactly thrilled about it, but she feeds Emma in bed and gets extra snuggles at least. She needs to realize that we had a time change.

Patrick said he was all ready to go shopping this way.

Their latest is pushing each other in my little pack and play. Silly kids. Wonder where they get it from.

Day 136

Dear Daddy,

We were a mess today. Happy Monday? Emma woke up with a swollen eye...

And Patrick has mystery bites. Mommy thinks spider. They are kind of whitehead-ish, and there are two sets in a square, which she doesn't know if it was coincidence or the nature of the bite.

Mommy got stuff to do the 3 day detox tonight. Wow is that a lot of chopping. She is going to do this weekly for her and for you for juices at lunch when you get back though, because it makes it easy.
