Dear Daddy,
Last night when mommy went to check on me before she went to bed this is how she found me...
This morning I woke up very early, drank my bottle, and had no intentions of taking a nap with mommy. Mommy REALLY needed just a few more minutes to doze... and so she put me in my crib with some toys and I was very happy with that. I played so hard that I fell back asleep! Mommy got up and around before I woke back up again. She was afraid that it would mess up my nap for this afternoon, but since I slept a solid 2 1/2 hours before she rustled me, it clearly didn't.
This morning it took us a good 2, 2 1/2 hours to get the teddy bear picture. Mommy would take a few pictures (which were hard to get because I just wanted to either play with the bear or eat him) and then I'd throw a fit, she'd let me play for a bit, and then we'd try again. Finally after 4, 5, 6 rounds we got one... but not before some silly pictures first!

After I took my big nap, I had a bottle and we went to the park. I had so much fun swinging!
Then I rode on a little airplane... mommy couldn't get the whole thing in the picture because she couldn't let go of me to back up far enough!
After I ate dinner (turkey and pears tonight) we decided to go to the beach. Mommy wanted to get video of me playing in the sand and the water for you. Bad idea... we got there and the tide was almost all the way in, and the waves were really loud and scared me (probably memories of my last beach trip where I was really scared!) ...also the flies and the sand fleas were biting us (or mommy at least) terribly so we didn't stay long at all.
We came home, I got my jammies on, and played for a couple of hours before going to bed. It was a long day... I went right to sleep with no complaints.I love you, daddy, and I can't wait to see you.
