Day 33

Dear Daddy,

We don't have too many pictures of today as most of it was out running errands. We were surprisingly good at the health food store, Emma was AWFUL in the post office (she screamed the whole time), and we were all very pleasant in our most favorite store in town.

Mommy did this to the van. It was like this when she left the house and didn't even realize it had been like that. Thankfully we made it to the gas station!

Mommy got this. I think it's funky and made my throat feel a little funny.

Just so you can see, this is mommy's protein. Looks gross, huh?

We miss you, daddy, and we can't wait to see you.

Day 32

Dear Daddy,

Can you believe mommy doesn't remember what we did today? That lady and her tiny brain.

She remembers she got to snuggle with Emma and her thunder thighs.

You bring out the strange kid in all of us, even from all the way over there.

I like to read Harold and the Purple Crayon!

And Ava dances to just about everything.

Do you see the sweat on Emma's nose? It's so hot here but she always fusses so mommy has to put her in the Ergo. Then she's happy. A happy little hotbox.

Day 31

Dear Daddy,

Today we had a very busy day. Of course we got out later than expected so it took just way too long to do everything.

First off, Emma had to get a bath. She loves them.

Mommy caught Patrick just lying there hugging Emma. Too sweet.

Inside Publix

Mommy discovered that sometimes she can just rub Emma's head and she will fall asleep. That happened this afternoon when she was wide awake and mommy got a shower.

We went to get frozen yogurt to celebrate a month down! We had so much fun but next time will do it at someone's house so we don't have to try to keep the little ones contained.

Ava was SO excited every time my picture came on the screen.

Then when we got home, we got your mail! We love it, but it's way too short of a video. Every 5 minutes Ava screams about it being done.

Day 30

Dear Daddy,

Gosh you've been gone a long time now.

This was Patrick this morning. Mommy couldn't believe that he covered himself in yogurt. (Well she could, and it's not a surprise, it's just still one of those things she really wished he hadn't done)

But then she washed him off and he was bright red everywhere the yogurt touched. These pictures are about a half hour after she washed it off (since Ava dropped and shattered the rice wine vinegar and that small fire kind of moved to the important thing #1 spot. Cool.

Emma is the cutest baby. This is another dress you picked out-Emma just happened to already have the headband and leggings to match.

Dinner was a fail, but we didn't mind a grilled cheese night!

Patrick is obsessed with these glasses. Mommy thinks he looks cute in them though.

We were really good and played together for a long time after dinner. We are starting to do that a lot more lately. It's nice when we do because mommy can get a head start on nightly routine stuff.

I was a good girl today so we got to play a game! Mommy and I had a talk and I'm going to try to be a big girl so we can do lots of fun stuff together.

It was close at the end... but I ended up winning!

Day 29

Dear Daddy,

Mommy misses a day because of a fussy Emma and she doesn't even remember what went on. Jeesh. That lady.

We danced to Mickey, as usual. Of course.

Oh yeah, that's right. Mommy was so desperate for a nap... finally it came time for Patrick and Ava to go to sleep, and Emma woke up from her vaccination hibernation. And refused to go back to sleep. She just wanted to be held. Which mommy loves of course, but she was just so tired.
