Dear Daddy,
Today was another calm-ish day at home. We're trying to hack away at some big projects-some days we get a lot done, some we don't-like today.
This morning mommy gave us yogurt and granola for breakfast. She REALLY needs to stop doing that until Ava and Patrick are bigger since they just like to finger paint themselves with it.
I got to get in a bath this afternoon. Mommy started it, went to switch laundry (where she ended up wrestling with the wet duvet cover-it had gotten stuck under the agitator) and when she came back to turn off my water it was like this and I was just sitting there grinning at her. I wasn't going to tell her that it was about to run over or anything. I'm a stinker.
Big big big thing-we got beds moved! Patrick now has my bed, and bedtime was actually easy for him because of it, probably because it's something new. Now mommy really really does need to get a box spring for it though because it looks kind of silly.
Here's our room-completely empty and waiting! We are camping out tonight.
Emma now has her crib! Mommy is sad because she loved sleeping next to Emma's sweet smiling face, but she's hoping Emma sleeps a little better in the crib than she did in the pack and play. She didn't sleep BAD in the pack and play... it was just getting cramped in there and her sleep is completely inconsistent with how many times a night she wakes up. But the crib being in there is more proof that you guys REALLY need to add on to the house.
We miss you, daddy, and we can't wait to see you.
