Dear Daddy,
Today was very very very hot. The AC was broken again and at noon it was 80 degrees and by 3 it was 85. It was nasty.
After the AC was fixed and we were working on getting cooled off, mommy and I played Old Maid.
Of course after hours of the AC running nonstop (and cooling the house down 9 degrees) it was fine enough to cover ourselves with really warm crocheted blankets and run around. We were pretending to be ghosts.
Mommy lost Ava on the monitor again (the temporary spot for it is where my clock used to be, so there are a few blind spots). She snuck in and Ava was underneath my bed completely, sleeping on the floor. Mommy figures there are many campouts to be had down there when we are older since it's basically a cave, but hopefully it'll wait till we are older so we don't expect it every night. She couldn't get a better picture than this though because even this one made her stir and it just wouldn't be worth it to wake her up.
Isn't Emma getting so big?
We miss you, daddy, and we can't wait to see you.
Love, Maya
