Dear Daddy,
Today we had such a busy day! It started early-around 8 or so-and our friends from Michigan were almost here. So Aunt Kristin fed me while mommy hurried and showered and made breakfast and did some last minute things. (She KNEW she should have just stayed up after she talked to you!)
Later on that morning, we went on a walk at the park down the road with our friends. I decided it would be a good time to take a nap on mommy.
We had to run a few errands... and guess who we saw!
I love playing with all of my toys! A whole new world has opened up!
This is SO so funny. Aunt Kristin wore this silky polka-dotted shirt today. She was holding me, and all I wanted to do was stare at it, feel it, and eat it. After awhile, I started rubbing myself all over her shirt... completely flailing my little body all over. It was the funniest thing. Mommy was cracking up and took off my onesie thinking it might feel good on my skin-but actually I FREAKED out! I cried and bucked around and fussed... but once mommy put my onesie back on I went back to the other goofy rubbing around on it. I didn't really know if I liked it or hated it... I would stare at it, smile, cry... I was so confused!
A little later, we went on base and went bowling! I fell asleep in the car and slept for a little bit inside. Then I woke up but was quietly looking around for awhile after.
After we got home, I played for quite awhile. Here I am (wearing my new shirt) watching you read stories to me.
I took a bath.... and had a freakout. I really need to get a big girl tub. This little thing just isn't working anymore. Mommy will get on that next week. Then I had a bottle and went right to bed like a big girl. Good thing... we have a busy day tomorrow!I miss you and hope you have a good day at work.
