Day 82

Dear Daddy,

Today was a much quieter, much more relaxed day than what we've had in the past quite a few days. I woke mommy up at 8 saying "mamamamamamama" and then we cuddled while I drank my bottle (which is a new little routine for us lately-it lets mommy be lazy for a little while longer).

We sort of rushed around running a couple of errands-a big storm was headed our way (in a line that had made tornado warnings down by Wilmington, only watches for us) and the wind was strong and the sky looked mean... but when it got hear it poured for only a second and it was done. Then the sky cleared up and was blue. Completely pathetic excuse for a "strong storm"!

We played for a bit, and I didn't take a very good nap. I woke up a few times and only slept for an hour and a half or two hours... I have to get back on my schedule.

Later on, Emily came over and played with me for awhile! This is what the living room is going to look like in a couple of months, so be prepared... this is usually just what my blanket and the area surrounding my blanket looks like now! (We were both VERY interested in Dora!)

(And then I had to keep looking back at Emily to see what she was doing!)

I got my new swaddler in the mail today... well it came on Saturday, but mommy hadn't checked the mail in a couple of days so she didn't realize it. I don't like it... I can't move! It's like a baby straight-jacket!

Soon I realized I was losing the battle... especially after mommy doped me up on teething tablets and I started to get really sleepy. We'll see how this does for me tonight... mommy is hoping I sleep really good tonight!
