Dear Daddy,
Last night I made mommy have another long night. I woke up at 4 again, and didn't go back to sleep till almost 6... and then got up for good at 8:30. She'll be so glad when she doesn't have to fuss with night feedings anymore.
I got up in a good mood, at least. It's so different waking up and seeing mommy there, and it's different for her too-she has to make a conscious effort to remember that my pack & play is there right next to her bed, NOT the floor! She's glad I can sleep anywhere... but is ready for me to go back in my crib and not have to run the humidifier obsessively.

(too bad I only slept like that for maybe a half hour...)
then I came out and just watched a little TV.
Then I ate, had some teething tablets and tylenol, and mommy and I fell asleep for about an hour. All of a sudden I woke up with this terrifying scream... mommy could tell right away that it was gas bubbles. At that point, she had had it with my formula and decided that she should just give in and try the other kind.
So mommy and I ran to Walmart to get the formula (and to get Evie some food). Of course she didn't JUST get those two things-she discovered that there is a teething version of my pacifier! (though it looks nothing like my pacifier at all) ...it has bumps on it so it feels good on my gums. Its such an odd shape... I don't realize it is a pacifier, so I don't keep it in my mouth by myself-I'll bite on it, but mommy has to hold onto it. I got a new bib too.
Mommy can't tell yet if it is making a difference, because she was holding me most of the night while she was on the phone. We were walking around, I was in my diaper, and we went outside on the back porch for awhile because it was warm outside and HOT in the house. I fell asleep like this:
After that, I wasn't up too much longer. I woke up when mommy sat down, of course, and wasn't too happy with that. She fed me and got my jammies on me and I went to sleep and went into my pack & play without even stirring. Hopefully I'll sleep a little bit tonight, although mommy is going to forego getting things done tonight anyway to go to bed "early"-since we have a busy day tomorrow.
