Day 28

Dear Daddy,

Today is 16 weeks since I said hello to you and mommy... and 4 weeks since I had to say "see ya later" when you got on that bus.

It ended up being an interesting day indeed, though. First of all, the day started veeeeery early... 2:30am, only an hour after mommy went to bed. I screamed, I fussed, I had some kind of a problem and mommy couldn't fix it. Mommy was exhausted and frustrated-she pleaded and pleaded with me to just STOP and go to sleep already.

Finally at about 4:30, I did.
I THEN got up again at 7:30... mommy REALLY wasn't thrilled about this, since her alarm was supposed to go off a half hour later. So after I ate and got dressed, I took a nap.
Then mommy and I went to Emily's house. We are becoming more and more of friends every time we see each other!
We had a pretty uneventful afternoon-I ate and napped a bit, and then mommy called the Naval Hospital because she was thinking of how awful I've been and how it could be an ear infection or something plaguing her... they sent us to a pediatric clinic, and the doctor was nice, but guess what he told her-I have colic! Explains a lot, huh?

Then we had to go to Wal-hell to get some things-like my formula, I was out of the gentlease kind. Then we came back and while mommy was getting my bath ready, guess what time I was having. Mommy could hear me complaining about something, and when she walked in the room guess what it was...
!!! I had almost rolled over, but my silly arm got in the way. I just don't know what to do with that arm yet.
Then I got in the bath... gosh, mommy is going to have to look into a different kind for me! I am moving all over in this one!

We cuddled the rest of the night, played a little bit, and talked to you. We are both pretty pooped tonight, even though I fought sleep till around 10... mommy soooo wants to play with her new present, but her eyes are crossing she's so tired.

So, with that, here's to promises of wonderful pictures (hopefully) tomorrow.

I love you, daddy, and I can't wait to see you.
Love, Maya
