Day 30

Dear Daddy,

I am starting to forget how the day has gone. They are always so long and when I sit down to reflect all I can feel is overwhelmed about how silly I was the whole day.

Last night was not so fun with mommy. I woke up at 4, screaming my head off... mommy fed me, changed me, made sure to give me my gas drops, but I was not happy at all. I finally fell asleep till around 8 sometime, and mommy and I stayed up after that.

Since I didn't get to have a bath last night, mommy had to definitely wash my hair. She was silly and put it kind of in a mohawk before she brushed it all nice.
Then I watched my shows for a little bit while mommy started getting ready.
LOOK at this attitude! I wonder where I get it from... where have you seen that look before, daddy?
Then mommy MADE me take a nap because she needed to get in the shower and well, I needed one, because I didn't get my full nights' sleep last night. I protested at first, but was out not too long after that. Mommy knows best!
And then she got out the 3-6 month clothes bin because all of a sudden NOTHING fits me. She put a really cute shirt on me (shirt, not a onesie! I'm getting so big!) and took a million pictures. (By the way... did you know that if you click on the pictures it makes them bigger?)
Look-I roll to both sides!
This is what mommy was talking about when she said I suck my top lip:
Look how pathetic Evie is.

After we talked to you, I took a NICE long nap. Mommy was really mad at the couple of times I was disturbed... but it was a good three hours at least. I got up, had a bottle, and then mommy fed me some cereal:

Then we had an errand to run and then went to Emily's house to play with her and hang out for the evening. I was really good at first-I was content just hanging out-and then fell asleep around 8:30, but that didn't last long. And then I screamed and screamed till mommy had enough and we came home... and of course, as she predicted, I fell asleep on the way. So when we got home mommy just hooked my carrier into my swing. (By the way, she now thinks that was the best investment ever.)

Mommy is tired. She needs a vacation from me. Or a day at the spa. (hint hint)

(Just kidding)

I love you, daddy, and I can't wait to see you.
Love, Maya
