Day 31

Dear Daddy,

Today I had a very very busy day. Perhaps that's why I fell asleep on the floor tonight. Here's a recap of the day... and hold on, because when mommy uploaded today's pictures there were a whopping 96 of them. Good thing she weeds through really well.

Last night, after falling asleep in my car seat on the way home from Emily's, mommy hooked my seat up to the swing. I slept there till almost 6 this morning. Mommy made me go back to sleep for a little while, but not before making sure I was dressed for the day so that when we needed to leave to come "see" you I would already be ready and all she had to do was put me in my seat and put me in the car-and sure enough, it worked perfectly.

Mommy and I talked to you, and then after that headed over to Emily's because even though it was cold out (we bundled up!) we wanted to take pictures of the ships off shore.
We didn't plan it, but Emily and I were little animals today! Look at our hoods-I am a bear, she is a bunny.
For more pictures of the boats... look on our big blog!

Mommy had to try and pull out all the stops to get me to nap today. She put in Robin Hood, and I watched it-but only for a few minutes before I started screaming.
Then finally she put me in my swing, turned on JT, and said deal with it-and I was out.
Then when I got up we had to get ready to go to the mall to get a couple of things.
Then we went to the mall, and I fell asleep holding my links (and mommy added a toy to it):

Then-this is a really important story. Are you ready for it?

Mommy put me on my blanket while she went in the kitchen to make her dinner. All she had to do was get the peppers she sautee'd and nuke her dinner-and put it all in a bowl-took maybe 3 minutes. She grabs her bowl and walks out into the dining room and looked up at me-and I WAS NOT on my back like I was when she put me down-I was on my tummy, looking around, happy as can be! Mommy tried to look up how old babies usually are when they can roll belly to back AND back to belly. She couldn't find it, but she's pretty sure it's not this early anyway. It was really funny because all day when I got myself up on my side I would SCREAM... I just wanted to roll over! Mommy is sad she missed it though. She can't believe I didn't scare myself when I did it or make any sort of noise at all! Look-I rolled half off of my blanket!
Evie and I are best friends... she is so protective over me.
Then mommy and I played for a bit.
Here I am trying to eat my foot...
And of course I had my screamo time...
And I made a mess of my face with my cereal...
And I decided to eat mommy's arm...
And then after chewing on mommy's finger covered by a cold, wet washcloth (new trick) for awhile, I completely passed out right on the floor. I must have been exhausted with everything we did today-it sure was a lot!

Of course, no matter how busy we kept ourselves, mommy and I wish you were here. Especially when all anyone talks about is what nice dinners they are going to and flowers and candy and we are kind of lonely here without you.

I love you, daddy, and I can't wait to see you.
Love, Maya
