Dear Daddy,
Wow-was today ever a busy busy day. It was probably the hottest day of the summer yet too (or at least it felt like it). I got up before I was supposed to-mommy wasn't even showered yet-but I played nicely in my crib till she was done.
We got up and around pretty quickly because we had some errands to run this morning. After I got all ready, I kicked my shoes off while mommy was getting her purse and the keys. She threw the keys down on the papasan to put my shoes back on, and then we left to go to the store... without the keys. Mommy realized it as soon as she shut the door. 20 frustrating minutes later we were finally in, but we were drenched in sweat. Mommy decided to skip errands and put me right down for a nap, and she parked in front of my fan for a bit to cool off.
We went to lunch with a bunch of friends as a goodbye for when Emily moves away... we would have pictures, but mommy's camera battery was dead!
We ran our errands afterward, and between our 'scapade outside this morning and the heat this afternoon being outside and in the car, my hair was a curly mess!

Logan came to play today, and we put in the Pocahontas movie that you sent!

After mommy put me to bed, we had the worst snot experience yet. I was in there screaming and screaming, and mommy came in and gave me Tylenol and teething tablets. I kept screaming and screaming, and so mommy went back in with a cold pacifier... she went to put it in my mouth (the lights were still off) and mommy could hear it... the sticky sound of snot. So she turned on the lights... there was snot ALL OVER my face. Like... ALL over. She got me out of my crib and cleaned up my face... it was even in my hair... I wasn't happy about it. Then mommy got the nasal aspirator out and started sucking out my nose... she had to hold my arms down... but she got so much out it was pretty awful (and gross). Hopefully that'll clear me out for the night... mommy just thinks that between my crying and the humidifier running in my room it loosened everything up.
I'm finally asleep, and hopefully I stay that way till morning.
I love you, daddy, and I can't wait to see you.
Love, Maya
