Dear Daddy,
Today we had a busy busy day that started out very early! I woke up at 6am, MUCH to mommy's dismay. She was hoping to get me back to sleep for a little while after I ate, since she really didn't have to be up till 8, but I had a horrible coughing fit which resulted in me throwing up on mommy-it was so bad, it was all over her, all over me, and all over the carpet. Soooo we cleaned up and were awake.
Since it was in the 70's today, we decided to go out to Emerald Isle. We borrowed Emily's carrier for mommy to put me in... and did I ever like it! As soon as we got there and I got in it, I stuck my thumb in my mouth and slept the entire time. (Thank Miss Sue for some of the pictures!)
Mommy bought me new bows for my hair at this little shop we stopped at. They are teensy and perfect for my hair! I got four of them, but mommy forgot to take pictures of the three I didn't wear today. But here is one of them!
After the fun on Emerald Isle, we walked around downtown Swansboro for a bit, stopped in Barnes and Noble, and then went back home to relax the rest of the night. I was pretty silly most of the time, but then towards the end, since I had such a long day, I started getting fussy. Mommy completely understood though-I had been SO good all day long! We had a really fun day today, and of course everyone was telling me how pretty I was.
Hopefully the time change won't mess us up too badly. Mommy isn't looking forward to it at all! Remember, we go an hour forward... so when you go into work it's midnight here. Tomorrow is going to be a long day and a lot more driving... hopefully it goes well!I love you, daddy, and I can't wait to see you.
