Day 69

Dear Daddy,

This morning I slept in a teensy bit longer than usual... I got up at 7:30 instead of 7, woohoo! But I SCREAMED at mommy to get me up... so she kind of had to listen.

Look what I did with my blanket-I am so silly!! Somehow I grabbed an end and rolled over with it... (I ended up doing this a couple of times today before mommy washed my normal floor blankets!)
I was trying to grab and kick at mommy's camera. She sticks it in my face too much!
Here I am playing with Mr. Duck... I love him!
(That one was mommy's favorite of the day... she laughed out loud at it because my face is so silly!)

We had to do some running this afternoon... we went out to the post office and mailed a whole lot of packages, one to you! I snoozed a bit, and then made mommy a stinky surprise.
Tonight I had a really good dinner, and I ate a lot of it. I drank almost a whole bottle, and then ate a lot of cereal-which mommy had mixed with a tiny bit of plain yogurt, as the doctor advised! I made faces at first but then loved it, and ate quite a bit of it, at least half a bowl when usually I only eat a couple few spoonfuls. Hopefully this will help me sleep in a little bit in the morning!
Mommy and I did a little bit of a (secret) craft project, I wasn't cooperative at all-mommy was going to use my hands but clearly that wasn't working so she used my feet instead.
Bad thing was... these two colors weren't pigment colors, they were ink-so they stained! But I got in the bath immediately after this (mommy is so smart) and it came right off.
I splashed a whole lot in my bath tonight-it was a big Maya storm! I stayed in for long enough to make my little feet shriveled up, and then screamed while mommy got me diapered, lotioned, and dressed. I drank a bottle and went right to sleep... I was a tired girl!

Tomorrow we'll hopefully be doing your next video since we don't have anything planned. We are trying to think of what all fun tricks we are going to show you!

I love you, daddy, and I can't wait to see you.
Love, Maya
