Dear Daddy,
Last night mommy's intuition was right apparently. She thought something wasn't quite right with me-and sure enough, when I woke up this morning, after 11 hours of (mostly) sleep, my diaper was only as wet as it usually is after just a couple of hours. So she called the advice nurse, and the advice nurse said to head in. So we packed everything up and headed to the Naval Hospital... (I wasn't too enthusiastic about it)
Then mommy and I had to wait in the waiting room for just a little while. I discovered that mommy had strings on her jacket and that kept me busy for awhile.

Then I had to go get an X-Ray. While mommy and I were walking to get it done, she reminded me that this is like what Jenny had to get done in the book you read me in your video, daddy. So I wasn't scared because you said it was ok.
I was a really good girl and had two pictures taken-one from the front and one from the side. When we were waiting to be taken back to our room, I threw up pink amoxicillin all over mommy and I... so we smelled awful and it was bright pink. Thankfully mommy had extra jammies in my bag for me, but she was just without a jacket for awhile.
Then I snoozed for a bit.

When we got home it was, unfortunately, time to try my nebulizer. I cried before mommy even got it out of the package.
Later on after I woke up, I played in my jumperoo for a bit. Guess what? I learned how to spin my red/orange and yellow ball!

Look how much I love watching the Simpsons! Right before this picture, right before mommy turned it on, I was being a fuss-butt.
I can't wait till you are home and can hold me tight when I am sick.
I love you, daddy, and I can't wait to see you.
Love, Maya
