Dear Daddy,
Today was a kind of busy day... well the morning at least. Mommy woke me up and I got to go play with Emily for a few hours! We had so much fun... Emily's mommy told mommy about when Emily and I kept stealing each others' cups and pacifiers... and I was such a good girl until my teeth started hurting and I got sleepy.
When mommy came to get me I was really tired... which mommy was excited about too because she wanted a nap as well. Unfortunately when we got home I got my second wind and wasn't at all interested in sleep-till I had my noon bottle. I went to sleep for an hour (so did mommy), woke up screaming, and then went back to sleep for another hour.
When I got up, I had a late lunch and mommy cooked some chicken for my dinner. A couple of hours later, when I ate it, I didn't know what to think at first since it was cut up into cubes but I liked it! I only ate about half of a bowl's worth (about a third of what was left when mommy took the picture) but I ate my peas and cinnamon applesauce good too. Mommy is going to make a special dinner for me tomorrow (which she'll probably eat too) but we'll post about that when it happens.
After dinner I sat down with my juice and watched you read me stories! I had the cutest smile on my face but of course, as soon as mommy grabbed the camera I went from "excited" to "content".
Somehow I was so hungry and so tired after we locked up the pool tonight! I fell asleep drinking my bottle-mommy had to wake me up a couple of times-but I drank the whole thing I was so hungry.
We are so glad that you are about to graduate from Corporal's Course and that you can finally see all of these pictures in a few hours (hopefully). We are so proud of you, and are so excited that things are going to go back to "normal" soon!I love you, daddy, and I can't wait to see you.
