Day 180

Dear Daddy,

Today's pictures are unfortunately going to revolve around my crib... but it was pretty much the focus of the day! Today when I woke up and had poopoo'd all over mommy decided that since she had to take my sheets off and wash them (again) anyway, she might as well take the whole thing apart and lower the mattress the rest of the way since she needed to do it before long.

She also decided that while it was all taken apart that she might as well sew extra ties to my bumper... since it has that big wood piece in the middle mommy can't tie the string there, so I always pull it down and play with it, and soon I'll step on it. So mommy sewed extra ties (ribbons) to the front and the back so she can at least tie it a little more.

We had a busy day today. Nutrition class in the morning (I was such a good girl there too), nap for a long time this afternoon, and then I played (including figuring out how to walk with my walking toys-mommy's trying to get video of it) and ate such a good, huge dinner this evening. We met with Uncle Alex and Aunt Kristin at Target, and they were so nice to haul my new bookshelf back and to bring me some new books from Michigan!

We played and played some more, and this is what it looked like at the end of the night...
I had pulled the pillow over my head and was drinking my bottle like this.

This is how far my head peeks up now that the mattress is lower! Perfect for teething... mommy is nervous and really needs to get to work making my little protector thing.
I love you, daddy, and I can't wait to see you.
Love, Maya
