Dear Daddy,
Today mommy and I had a really rough day. I slept a really long time since I had a hard day yesterday-I was up a little bit this morning, and then I took a nap till about 2-and I gave mommy a really hard time after that, so hard that she cried and I've never made her cry before.
This, though, is me taking a nap this morning with your shirt. When mommy took me out of my swing I smelled like you and she loved it.
This is... ya know... you guys' favorite face. This was taken while mommy was in the middle of changing my diaper and she was holding my little legs up.
This is what I looked like from after my bottle at 2 on.
And then... like magic... mommy put in the DVD of you reading stories to me and I was quiet and just watched you.
I fussed a little bit, so mommy picked me up and held me close as you finished the stories. I fell asleep like this and she was clever and used the self timer to take this on the first try.
Mommy and I miss you a lot. We hope you call us soon so we can hear your voice. More importantly we are praying that you are safe, happy, and warm... and know that we are back here loving you.
