Dear Daddy,
Today was a pretty uneventful day. In a nutshell: slept in, went to church, and fussed.
I slept through the night last night, really! I didn't end up falling asleep till about 10:30, but then I didn't wake up till almost 9. Once again, mommy was almost ready by the time I woke up, which is nice.
We went to church, and I was all smiles for miss Staci through the whole service. Look what I did-I held on to my bottle! (Pretty sure I wasn't consciously doing it, but I did it anyway)
And look what I wore today! It finally fit me. Mommy didn't realize till she saw the pictures later that the white tights would probably have been a better match... oh well, we'll try next time.
Then I was pretty content for awhile. I watched my DVD and practiced sitting in my chair while mommy ate lunch...
Then mommy had an awful headache and just wasn't feeling good and we had a rough evening so she didn't exactly have the camera glued to her side like usual. Here's silly me, mommy and I were having a conversation:
For a change of scenery, mommy swaddled me up and put me in the sling she's borrowing when we took Evie out for a little walk. It was not the smartest thing she's done... she likes to support me with one hand, so when Evie saw a cat and started pulling and freaking out it got a little difficult. Mommy is just going to go ahead and buy me a front carrier on payday... then she can tote me around everywhere, and I won't hurt her back like I did with that sling.
After that, I was still upset and fussy... to the extent that I didn't even stop crying when mommy was holding me and walking around. So she gave me you know what time... and mommy half expected it to happen, but I peed when she was just getting ready to put my diaper back on me so we had to have a bath.
Ohhh boy, the bath. I LOVED it today! I discovered that I could splash, and I had so fun it was making me squeal and giggle! Mommy got really wet but she didn't mind because she was having so much fun watching me. Maybe I'll even get another bath tomorrow night just so mommy can remember to bring the camera in and get some video of it.
Another thing that is changing with me is the drooling. I said yesterday how I was chewing on her finger and drool was running down her arm-same today, there was drool everywhere... so I guess we are getting closer and closer. Mommy's glad... she's going to lose her mind soon.
